For last week and this week March 22 we have broken out the LAST of the clay.....oh the things we can do.
relief printmaking:Students were introduced to the traditional medium of printmaking. Compositions were created around the students initials. Printmaking steps are pretty simple: Make the printing plate. Ink the plate. Transfer the image. Amanda and Samantha carving their plates. Seniors Miguel and Roger inking their printing plate. Master printer Roger S. exhibits his transferred image.
exquisite Corpse:Students enjoyed a wine(grape juice) and cheese party and played two different versions of the Surrealist collaborative game, Exquisite Corpse to gain ideas for creative and unique subject matter in their work.
